The Human Condition

I’m not interested in never-ending stream of bad news about what a dire state we’re all in, on all fronts — political, economic, social, environmental —  because there’s nothing I can do.

I don’t care about the so-called 99% because I can’t sympathize with anyone who actually believes there ever was anything other than an obedient, delusional and tragic working class… and the tiny minority who owns the working class.

It’s hard to get enthused about “magical” technology because underneath the pretense of digital socialization and solidarity is a small cabal of privately owned data death camps that will try to get you to believe your personal contribution to their vast and expanding databases is just harmless fun designed to increase your freedom of expression.

Show me relief from this existence, in this realm, and you have my undivided attention.

It’s called Video Games, Role Playing Games, literature and stories. All you need is your imagination. But then people accuse you of ‘escapism’ and not living in the real world.
