Delusion Illusion


… and yet we keep pursuing external phenomena, hoping to end suffering. It’s like we’re raised to buy into distraction, acquisition and status as a means to an end, but the end that follows is never what we expect.

Maybe, somehow, we know this and that’s why we innately fear death: the people who cling the tightest to the phenomena as perceived by the senses are the ones who really don’t want to buy the farm.
